The Tenerife South Airport – Reina Sofia, is located on the Island of Tenerife, in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona.
It is the second airport with the highest passenger traffic in the Canary archipelago and the seventh in Spain.
However, Tenerife is the island that has more saturated its air space, bringing together the largest passenger movement in the Canary Islands with 12,226,198 passengers, through its two airports, the Tenerife South Airport and the Tenerife North Airport.
The Tenerife South Airport is the first Spanish tourist airport in the Aena network, with 92% of passengers traveling for this reason.
HOW TO GET TO THE TENERIFE SOUTH AIRPORT?
From Santa Cruz de Tenerife you can get to the Tenerife South Airport on the TF-1 motorway. The duration of the journey is about 40 minutes to travel the 62 km that separate it.
But without a doubt, the best way to get to Tenerife North Airport is to book a TAXI with time from the reservation form. Secure a taxi waiting for you at the door of your home, hotel, cruise or work at the time you say.
You can see which check-in desk is assigned to your flight on the information screens.
